Our Featured Foundations are making a huge difference we are pleased to introduce Bow Wow Buddies Foundation
& The Rocky Mountain Dressage Society:
Bow Wow Buddies Foundation and Camp Bow Wow!
A note from Karen Brady, TPFC President... "The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation is working to change the face of Canine Cancer and support  Humane Care and Re-Homing of neglect and abused pups. These efforts are so very essential for our beloved furry friends! Please support them today and visit them for your adoption needs as well."
Mission
The mission of the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation is to promote the health and welfare of dogs worldwide by focusing on finding foster and lifetime homes for unwanted dogs, promoting humane education and treatment, and investing in research and treatment for dogs devastated by illness and disease.
Current Initiatives
Homing
Every dog deserves a loving home. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation works with Camp Bow Wow doggy day care and overnight camps throughout the county to provide foster care and facilitate adoptions for homeless pets. Since 2003, we have found homes for over 2,500 dogs—and we plan to find forever homes for an additional 2000 dogs this year.
Health
Working to find a cure for canine cancer is our top priority. In addition to funding a yearly scholarship at the world-renowned CSU Animal Cancer Center, Bow Wow Buddies has launched Lend a Paw for the Cure, a campaign to raise money and awareness for the research and treatment of canine cancer.
Humane
All dogs have the same basic needs— clean food and water, shelter and love. Worldwide dog overpopulation leads to neglect, abandonment, abuse and suffering. Recently,
the Foundation rescued 26 dogs from Greece, a country that has no large scale animal welfare infrastructure, yet faces some of the most horrific and violent cases of abuse and neglect imaginable. While it is true that dogs suffer everywhere, the Foundation has committed to helping the dogs of Greece through targeted programs including sterilization, humane education and outreach, and capacity building efforts for existing grassroots animal welfare workers.

Featured Camp Bow Wow: Camp Bow Wow Lodo
Camp Bow Wow LoDo is part of North America's Premier Doggy Day and Overnight Camp! Our campers play all day in our indoor/outdoor play yards, and you can view them online anytime with our Camper Cams. Our Camp Counselors are here to pamper your pooch and ensure that they are always safe and happy. Each overnight camper gets to play all day and rest easy at night in their own cabin with a comfy cot to curl up on. Other services include baths and nail trims. Home Buddies by Camp Bow Wow is our in-home pet care service which offers overnight care, dog walking and day visits.
Note from TPFC President, Karen Brady:
"I had the privilege of touring Camp Bow Wow Lodo and may I say it is the cleanest daycare I have ever had visited. In addition to cleanliness, every cabin was equipped with a cot for their campers with a blanket for loving comfort (that is laundered often). Without hesitation I would board my own dogs there. I recommend it highly to our beloved TPFC clients!"

The Rocky Mountain Dressage Society
Rocky Mountain Dressage Society is dedicated to the education and promotion of the horse and rider through the discipline of dressage.  Dressage is a French word that translated literally means, “training”.

There is a very close relationship that develops between the horse and rider as communication is the key to development of both.  The riders’ quiet aids; pressure from the riders leg or a turn of the shoulders, tells the horse what the rider wishes the horse to do.  Dressage training is good for any horse and any equine discipline.  It takes time and patience for the horse and rider to develop their unique partnership.

Rocky Mountain Dressage is committed to this education by holding clinics and events.  There is camp for teens, Pilates combined with riding, horse feed and vet care, and events introducing other disciplines within the horse world.  Four scholarships are given away every year and we hope for more!

Competitions are held throughout the riding season which are so essential to help us gauge our progress.  Competing with our fellow dressage riders is invaluable, learning as we observe and socialize.

Join us on this lifelong pursuit of horse and human relationship!
